We all wonder what it would be like to own a villa in California...  this would be a perfect way to keep it feeling down to earth and beautiful.  I love the clean lines, the natural light is amazing and the simple color palette makes it very appealing.

Paris Apartment...

 

As we draw nearer to our sale this weekend I find myself revisiting our trip to Paris from the Spring.  I fell in love with the little apartment that we stayed in but would have done things a little differently..  something like this beauty would have been perfection.  Can you imagine?

This week I will be posting alot about our trip and some of the wonderful pieces that we have to offer.  I do hope you will be able to join us on Friday and Saturday to see what we brought back!

Gorgeous and simple is the perfect for this home.  I love the clean lines and muted colors in the decor which seems to flow so perfectly inside and out of the spaces.

Dark trimmed windows and doors...

 

I am working with a client in Laguna Beach who is building from the ground up and we were chatting yesterday about windows and doors... we ended up deciding on dark details for the exterior.  I love this look and was excited to find so many wonderful examples to back up our ideas...  What do you think?  Would you go dark?

Fresh air..

 

I think it is about time we opened up the doors and windows to let the fresh air in.  I am so in need of warmer days, we have had some beautiful teases here in California but I need a little more!  

Things here have been so busy and so amazing I cannot wait to share all of the new pieces we have online and some great upcoming giveaways here on the blog!  It is going to be a great couple of weeks as we ease into Spring, I do hope you will join us for everything!

Dramatic windows..

 

This old cement factory converted into a home and office is amazing!  The windows do me in.  So so beautiful with the trees behind.  Can you imagine waking up to that?

Are you looking forward to the weekend?  We have many many plans here and I hope to get a few moments to enjoy the warm weather and keep up on my reading!

Texture and Lignt..

 

Is this not an amazing space?  I love the texture of the brick with the curved lines over the windows.  Such a wonderful detail.  The fresh clean lines of the furnishings are a great way to offset the rustic ceiling in the space.

greige and white kitchen..

 

It was nice to take a day to rest this weekend because this week is going to get moving quickly!  We are starting our renovation this week on the kitchen finally and I am excited, I would be more excited if I did not own four million glasses that I have to wrap up!!!  I know that I am obsessed with glassware and apparently bowls but really I did not know I was that bad (note to self: do not buy any more glasses).  Aside from that I am still undecided on a color for the cabinets and the walls, I will try to get some pictures up to get your opinion on them  this week.

So I thought I would start the week off with some pictures of what my kitchen does not look like to give us all some inspiration about the subject.

Garden Entry

 

Oh my, thank goodness it is almost the end of the week.. we can celebrate Thursday right?

I love the amazing windows in this house, it seems they almost touch the floor and the arched gateway is amazing!
