Cottage Love # 11 - Boho Style

I thought I would share a little pick me up on this wintry day. Most of the East coast is receiving snow and/or rain today. Boo...A little color goes a long way in cheering me up.

I'm digging the Bohemian vibe of Whitney's home (and her fabulous locks and wardrobe). She and her fiance blended their goods and created a place with a layered, lived in look!

I ADORE this wallpaper. I think I need to sneak it into my home. In any case I grabbed a sample of it for a client too!!!

Relaxed Living....

I've had a tile installer at my house for the past two days! He finished up my back splash and the little bathroom off of my bedroom. He was efficient as hell and I'm pretty happy with the results. (I'll be sharing a kitchen design board with you next week!) I need to select the cabinet hardware this weekend. I'm pretty sure I'm going with brass. Speaking of renovations.... I came across this home renovation in Traditional Home yesterday while I was picking up the tiles. I usually use a little more color in my designs but I'm drawn to the relaxed feel and mix of modern and traditional elements. Life can get so chaotic sometimes, I dream of coming home to a finished, beautifully decorated home!

I love this entire dining area!!

I'd also love to powder my nose at this vanity table! Beautiful!

This week seemed to drag on........I thought I'd share a cheerful space with you to end the week on a positive note!  There are elements of this Lilly Bunn Weekes design that I'm just loving. Such as the foyer rug, that killer brass cocktail table and sofa, the tortoise frames, the Gracie wallpaper, the leopard carpet and Thibaut's Tanzania covered powder room (I am having the same paper installed in my bathroom soon!!! eek)

Hi y'all. I came across adorable designer Gen Sohr and her home in this month's issue of Matchbook magazine. I love her style, and the fresh, updated classic look of her abode. I thought it would be the perfect post to follow my classic style segment......

On a house note.....the hardwood floors are being refinished and stained over the next three days! Moving day is set for Tuesday....Stay tuned for some deets next week! The kitchen (love her kitchen!) is in shambles but I'll live and be eating either raw meals or take out for about a month!

Holy Shiznit - The Hamptons continuted!

Guilty as charged!! This is a direct re-post from my good friend's blog.  While I'm on the subject of The Hampton's this week, how could I possibly fail to mention J.Christopher Burch's fabulous Hampton's vacation (yes - vacation) home? It's gorge from head to toe!!

Also, a bit of news for my local peeps. They are opening a C.Wonder shop at Derby shops in Hingham, Ma. I was thrilled to hear that bit of info this week!! Images and deets via AD.
