Classically chic

I had the pleasure of playing personal shopper for a good friend last weekend. She has great taste and style but confessed that when she gets her purchases home she can never figure out how to put them together! As you know, I'm a proponent of purchasing great classic pieces and layering in trends and fun, less expensive finds. We started with the classics on Saturday. Here's a selection of the staples we came up with! casual night out!

I'm heading out tonight with a friend after a long week of work, we're going someplace casual and seaside. Here's a typical look I might put on. It gets cool in Boston at night, so the little denim jacket is a must. I also love to layer necklaces. The key is to just keep the lengths different! Happy Weekend!
